Pet care experience
I take caring for your dog as seriously as I would want you to take caring for my dog. I'm a dog lover who has been caring for my own dogs since I was eighteen. I have experience training, caring for, and being the best friend of my own dogs as well as some of my friends' dogs. Your pet will be safe, comfortable, and part of our pack when in our home. Above all, he/she will have a great time!

Matt is wonderful with animals, especially dogs. I've know Matt for several years and have been lucky to have him take care of my dog Jake, a German Shepherd. Matt has, on numerous occasions, taken Jake for me for several days or several hours as I work an odd schedule. Jake is always happy to go with Matt, and actually gets excited when he sees him (this is not true with all people as Jake can be finicky about leaving my wife or I, we all know dogs have their people). Matt is a clean, attentive and energetic guy. I've never worried for a second about Jake receiving his meals on time, medications he may be on or getting plenty of exercise. I couldn't recommend Matt enough to watch someone's dog, I know he will give it the same love and attention he gives his own and mine. Happy customer, John
Matt is fantastic with pooches! He loves dogs so it's totally natural for him to give them tons of love and attention. Matt is really active too, so he doesn't hesitate when it comes to going on dog-friendly adventures like hiking or beach trips. I would highly recommend Matt as a dog care-giver!

My most extensive experience is with larger breed dogs however that does not limit me to smaller breeds.
A typical day
Your dog will be a member of our family and pack when staying with us. We live very close to the Wallace Park fenced in dog run which we will frequently visit. We can also provide hikes and adventuring in Forest Park. Other adventures can include trips to the Sellwood River Park and beyond.
