Pet care experience
We have owned pets all of our lives (cats, dogs, fish, birds) and absolutely love all animals. We are new to Rover as sitters after having incredible experiences using the service for our animals (we currently have a 17 year old cat, a Bulldog-Boxer and English Setter) We would be glad to help you out with dog walking or in-home sitting for your weekend getaways. I have know Matthew and Mandy now for five years and can honestly say you will be hard pressed to find two people that love and thoroughly enjoy the company of animal companions more than they do. My wife and I have bred Ragdoll cats for a few years now and there are no two people on this planet we would trust more to take care of our four adult Ragdolls and (sometimes) as many as 18 kittens. Their love for animal companions is only matched by their kind hearts and thorough enjoyment of life.
I have known Matt as a neighbor first and then as a friend. He has a way with dogs and people that puts them at ease immediately I highly recommend Matt for a position with Rover.com. His interactions with my dog Ricky have always been positive Ricky recognized immediately that Matt was a person he could trust and I’m confident that Matt will be an asset to your team.
Matt has pet sat for us on numerous occasions when we went on family vacations or when we had busy weekends with our kids sporting events. Matt was always reliable with our walking and feeding schedules. Our pets (and our kids) love when he comes over to visit and when we see each other out and around the neighborhood during our daily walks. We meant Matt around 6 years ago and have entrusted him with access to our house and pets for over 5 years now whenever we need a helping hand with our 2 dogs and our cat. Could not ask for a better pet sitter when we are away.
