I am Matt, a software developer working from my home. Since I work from home I can give the pups staying with us second-to-none love, attention, and care, with minimal unsupervised time. I volunteered at the Maryland SPCA before moving to Houston. There I learned how to take care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from gentle giants to crazy chihuahua's. Many of the dogs had problems with leash behavior or incorrect social skills (both with humans and other dogs). The SPCA taught me how to correct these behaviors and give the dogs the individual care they needed. The MD SPCA was also where I met my own furry friend, Bruzer. He is an amazing dog that is the sweetest companion, both for humans and other dogs. He's excited to meet new friends and loves to play. We recently added another furry friend, Blitz, to the family. He is young and excited, but very well behaved and is excited to meet new friends. I have a fenced-in backyard with grass, a porch, and shade. There's also an off-leash dog park a short drive away if that is something you would like to have your dog do. Even if weather forces us to stay in doors there will be plenty of entertainment for your loved ones while they are with us. Whatever activities you would like to have your furry friends do while they are here, just let me know and I will work with you to make sure they have the best stay possible.
