Hi there! I'm Matthew and I raised my own shelter dog over the course of 10 years. I have experience as a professional dog walker and overnight in home animal caregiver. My clients continuously rate me 5 stars! I love being around pups that have as much energy as I do, and there's nothing more satisfying than an hour long walk with one of my favorite recurring clients on a great sunny LA day! I'd love to get to know your pets and help out with caring for them with walks and drop in visits or overnight in home stays while you're away. In the past, I have operated based on private referral and some of my past clients are willing to vouch for my services if need be. Dogs have been my most common client species, but I have experience with giving cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish love and care too! Prior to booking a sitting with me, it's important to let me know if your pets has a strict, or more relaxed routine for eating, walks/potty breaks, or play time. If any medications will need to be administered during the stay, please let me know ahead of time what the medicine is for, as well as how and how often it needs to be taken. I don't have a breed preference, but I think it is important that you choose a sitter that your animals like, so we should make sure it's a good fit with a meet and greet or 30m walk before an overnight booking.
A typical day
30m walks are done in the dog's neighborhood on his or her own block and surrounding streets. 60m walks can be done over a larger area such as the entire neighborhood or surrounding neighborhoods, or even at a nearby recreational park area provided it's within a 1 mile radius of the dog's home/pickup location.
