Hello, I'm Matt! Here's a little bit about me... I’ve enjoyed working with furry friends for 18 years in many different fields: Pet Groomer for 18 years Pet CPR Instructor through Pet Emergency Education I have worked in a kennel as the Grooming Department Manager. The bonus of working in a kennel setting was that it also enabled me to participate in dog play groups and to enjoy every part of their stay! I’ve also had the wonderful experience of being a Volunteer on the Board of Directors of a Pet Rescue/Pantry for about 5 years. Helping needy pets and their owners was incredibly rewarding. It's an experience I'll always cherish. Pet sitting (staying in homes or going on visits) has always been something I've enjoyed doing for close clients, friends, family & co-workers. It gives me a one-on-one relationship with the fur babies and their parents. Those relationships were something I couldn't get with any other job and something I knew in my heart had to be in my future. Having recently moved to Conway SC, I couldnt think of a better way to start my new life than with pet sitting - something I've enjoyed for so long. Having two dogs of my own and having been in the client's shoes, I feel I know what you are looking for in a pet sitter: Your pet's and home's safety My reliability - I'll always be there when scheduled! Having your fur babies home where they're most comfortable Following their regular routines with walking, playing, feeding, etc. Maintaining their training routine w the commands, etc. that you've established. Keeping you informed constantly with pictures, videos, written notes - whatever you want/need to keep your mind at ease. And most importantly - BEING LOVED while you're away at work or vacation.
