Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Mattea and I'm 18 years old. I've grown up with dogs of various breeds including Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pitbulls, and Olde English Bulldogge Pitbull mixes. These are just dogs I've owned (or currently do with the two pitbulls) I've worked with various other breeds since I was basically old enough to be able to, including breeds from small to large sizes. (Such as Toy Poodles, Jack Russell Terriors, Komondors/Hungarian Sheepdogs, English Setters, Chihuahua mixes, Australian Shepherds, Great Danes, and more!) I've been told by people I'm kind of an animal whisper. I also have grown up with cats and currently have three! I've dog sat a 120lb Labrador, who was quite moody, starting when I was age 10. Along with a pitbull mix sibling he had then with strict restrictions on their interactions. I've also worked with dog reactive dogs and very skittish dogs. I also enjoy grooming and have groomed a Samoyed who I was told usually didn't like getting groomed, but she was perfect for me and even laid and fell asleep while just letting me groom her. Overall I just love animals of all kinds and would love to be able to work with them!

I have always had wonderful service from Mattea as a dog walker. She is always on time and has a good attitude and is very respectful. As for my chocolate lab, she takes very good care with his feeding and walking.
Mattea is a wonderful dog lover. I have been on walks with her and dogs. Mattea does an excellent job of commanding the dogs and keeps them safe with traffic, and they listen very well. Mattea has done a great job training the dogs and enjoys interacting with them. She would be a great dog sitter and dog walker. She has always been incredible with animals.
Hello my name is Suzanne, I have known Mattea for several years and she has walked our dogs on several occasions, she is amazing with animals, I don't let many people tend to my pets but I would totally be at ease knowing she is caring for my pets. She communicates with them and is attentive to their needs, is not hurried or rushed in any way so my pets were able to go potty when they were ready, she interacts with them to play with them. I watch her with her pets and I see that she is very gifted with training animals, I would definitely hire her to train mine. Overall you can't go wrong having her care for your pets, she definitely loves animals and has a good rapport with animals that puts you at ease to know they will be cared for as if they were her own. I'd like to know the dog's personality and any specifics the owner would like done. If the dog is used to a schedule. I don't really have a breed preference, but I do absolutely love bully breeds since they're so misunderstood. I'm also comfortable working with special needs pets given instructions ahead of time on what they'd need. (I myself would love to adopt a special needs dog one day)
A typical day
I can walk on trails near the dog's home or if the owner has a specific route they'd like their dog on I'd be happy to follow that. I can do fetch, tug, training, agility, basically any activity the owner would like done with their dog.
