Passionate about all animals

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs my whole life, I currently have 4 dogs (3 Sproodles, and an English Springer Spaniel). Since I was a freshman in college I would always love to take care of animals while friends and family were at work. I would take them outside, feed and play with them, or whatever else the owner needed me to do.

Our family has worked with Matt for the past couple of months and couldn't be happier. He is great with dogs but also thoughtful and asks all the right questions about taking care of them. We had him work with our dogs and their trainer several times, so he was familiar with our expectations, and the trainer was equally impressed with his focus and diligence.

Safety, trust & environment

At my home I care for my animals by keeping them in our fenced in backyard, but would not be able to board other animals besides my own. In a clients home I would keep them on a leash, put on their electric fence collar, or whatever method the owner is most comfortable with using.

Information Matt S. would like to know about your pet

If a dog has an anxious temperament, if the dog is aggressive, or if they any sort of food allergy. Also any other information the owner feels like I need to know in order to take the best care of their dog.

A typical day

I’ll take the dog out in the yard and play with them using toys or just running around. If there is an area nearby to go for walks I’d go for a walk on the leash.
