Pet care experience
Growing up I cared for our family dogs and cats and that is where I learned the wondrous love and joy an animal can bring into your life. We have always had rescue animals and to me it is one of the most rewarding things in life to see the personality and happiness of a previously neglected animal start to grow and shine! I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, as well as senior dogs, and for friends and family I have always been the goto sitter. At this point I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and ages and am happy to give them whatever special attention and care that they uniquely need. I am very flexible and honest and attentive. I will take wonderful care of your pet and hope to give back to them some of the joy and love they always give me :)

Amazing! I’ve used Rover before and loved the convenience of it. However, Matt is bar none the best yet. He watched my very new rescue for a few days and stayed at my house. He was patient, understanding, and intuitive with her. The icing on the cake was that my house looks just how I left it. I’ve had experiences where I’ve had to come home and clean up for quite a while upon returning. Thanks again, Matt!
Professional and responsive. Good communication. This was our first time with Matt. It was easy to get set up and going.
Matt followed through on a whole hour walk despite the CRAZY SNOW out. He walked Otis, our big spunky lab, who needed some energy release time instead of being left alone as I had to leave for something pretty last minute. I cant thank Matt enough for coming through! Will definitely book him in the future.
Matt has watched our chocolate lab, Moxie, when we’re away and has periodically taken her for walks when we need extra help, and he is wonderful with her! Moxie has a lot of energy, and Matt is great at tiring her out with long walks and tennis ball time. Moxie can also be anxious and has certain needs when interacting with other dogs, so it’s a comfort having Matt as someone we can trust to care for her when we’re away. I can’t recommend him enough!

I generally prefer to go to a pets home as it is always a more comfortable and safe space for them. I do occasionally sit at my house where we tend to play a lot in the large backyard. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so any visitors are always spoiled!
