Matt is an active 2nd year dental student that is back in Minnesota for the summer, and couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with his favorite animals. Matt grew up with Golden Retrievers since the age of 4, and has been dog sitting for neighbors through word of mouth for 6 years. He is now taking his talents to Rover. This dependable, responsible, and dynamic dog sitter will be home full time for the summer break with AMPLE time to exercise, play with, and love your four legged friend, big or small. Whether your dog loves runs around Lake Calhoun, bathing in the sun next to a cold bowl of water, or snoozing inside on the couch, Matt will be able to accommodate. Booking Matt comes with the dental student guarantee: putting a smile on your face during the trying times away from your pet, while also making your pet grin from ear to floppy ear. Witty daily updates will be provided for an extra charge (kidding... about the extra charge.)

Matt and my black labradoodle Mora hit it off the second he walked through the front door! He was gracious enough to take care of Mora while I went to my friend’s wedding and both parties had a wonderful time. His positive, caring demeanor made it easy for Mora to get comfortable around him. He fed and walked Mora and left the house cleaner than when I left. 10/10 would recommend Matt to anyone needing a dog caregiver!

A typical day
Depending on your dogs preferences and activity level walks can be provided at and around: Lake Calhoun, the suburban streets of and Parks of St. Louis Park, trails along the river. Additional canine activities: Fetch, swimming (if your dog is into that), The Matt Spa (brushing and/or baths), training reinforcement, people socialization (I have many dog loving friends)
