I grew up with dogs (and cats) and I love animals. I have done dog sitting for friends occasionally, sometimes for up to a week. I have experience giving oral medications as well, and possess the requisite patience for such endeavors. Though I have never done so, I have experience self-administering Insulin (I am Type 1 Diabetic), so I could manage administering injectable medications. I care for all creatures on this planet, and I get a special joy out of spending time with animals. Generally speaking, I prefer the company of pets over humans (except for especially nice humans). I am caring, patient, and willing to put animals' best interests ahead of mine, when necessary. I am fit and can take good care of the animals. I have never met an animal I did not like, and if the animal was disagreeable, it was clearly an issue with the owner, not the pet.
