I am a Physical Therapist by day during the week. My day job forces me to have the commitment to delivering dedicated, safe care to humans and I would like to expand that animals as well. I am a big time dog lover. My experience includes dog sitting for classmate's pets when I was in grad school. Also, I nursed a sick puppy back to health in undergrad with my girlfriend at the time. The backyard to my apartment is fenced and includes a dog park. Availability during the week is all day Sunday/Monday, mornings on Tuesdays/Thursdays, afternoons on Wednesdays, and evenings on Friday/Saturday. Lead an active lifestyle that any dog would enjoy. My dog Cooper instantly felt comfortable with Matt and when Matt had to leave it practically seemed like Cooper was looking to leave me and go with Matt, that rascal. Having seen Matt in action with my dog, he adapted to Cooper's style and connected with him basically right away. He will always be first on my list anytime I need help with watching or taking care of Cooper!
Matt is a great dog-sitter! My dog Stella immediately fell in love with him as soon as they met. He was so patient and kind with her. He was even willing to get on the floor and play with her! He attended to all of her needs and I felt incredibly comfortable having him watch her. I would absolutely recommend Matt to any dog-owner who wants to have a responsible but fun sitter hanging with their pup for a few hours or days!
Matt watched my dog Roux while I was traveling for the Holidays and it could not have been better! She was well cared for, happy (if not spoiled with love/attention!) and comfortable throughout her time with him. Matt was great about sending photos, being responsive with any questions/concerns and going above and beyond for my pup. Matt is great with dogs and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my pup in his hands again!
