I've spent several years pet sitting for a variety of breeds and now own my own (deaf) Australian shepherd! I love my dog and will love yours too. My dog Albus and I are very active. We walk for at least an hour a day, play in the fenced backyard for a while, and usually stop at a dog park. On the weekends, you can find us on hikes or other dog activities. I would love to take your dog along with me! I'm a graduate student, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to come home in the middle of the day to check on my dog (and yours) if needed. Tell me what your dog needs and I'll be happy to do it. I've looked after a range of pets, from the lowest maintenance (let me out twice a day and I'll be happy!) to very high maintenance (please play with me for four hours and never leave me alone!). I've given medications, taken emergency vet trips, trimmed a problematic nail, cleaned up every type of dog mess, and learned to embrace shedding. Want me to work on simple training? I'll be happy to work on some basic commands while your dog is with me. I've just gone through obedience training with my deaf Aussie...if he can learn it, so can your pup. Albus and I are really looking forward to meeting some new dogs!
