Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, and always took the caretaker role in my family. I love walking/running. I am good with discipline, but am not too over-bearing. I am also an excellent communicator, and am always available to reach via text, phone call, and email. Apart from taking care of the dogs in my family, I also house sat and dog walked in my neighborhood, and for friend's families. In addition to having cared for my family's dog for years, I also have experience providing special attention due to health issues. Caring for a seizer-prone dog with dietary issues is something I am very familiar with. This experience gives me a more cautionary level of care. I am very aware.

Best of the best!! Great backyard with high wooden fence that I doubt any dog could escape from, has nice green grass and big enough for romping/playing. His dog is well-behaved and would probably get along well with other dogs as a rule. Received a photo of my Penny, and he has always been quick to respond, detail-oriented, and conscientious. Highly recommended!
Matt did a wonderful job of watching my American Bulldog while I was on vacation! Matt was very polite and professional. He promptly responded to all my messages and sent me photos of my dog throughout the week. My plane ended up getting delayed and I had to pickup my dog a day late Matt was very accommodating. My dog seemed healthy and happy when I picked him up. I can definitely say that I would highly recommend Matt!
Matt and Mary watched my high energy border collie mix for several days over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their care of her. They have a sweet tempered dog of their own, and since mine does not always get along with other dogs, they agreed to meet us before committing to the stay. Everything worked out between the dogs and we were all confident they would get along fairly well together. I received regular updates and pictures of how everything was going, and returned to a very happy dog, so I could tell she had a great time. I will definitely be booking with Matt again in the future!
For as long as I have known Matt, he has been an avid outdoorsman with a genuine connection to dogs of any and all breeds alike. He is an authentic human with a real passion for all living creatures, especially for canines. Matt is honest, dependable, loving and like his furry counterpart very loyal. I have previously entrusted Matt with both my dog and my 3 small children. He has always been responsible and diligent and attentive. I would without hesitation recommend Matt as a dog caregiver.
