Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Matt and I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young as my family always had a dog. I have also taken care of neighbor’s dogs, cats, and guinea pigs from time to time over the years. I wish I could have a dog again but my current living situation prevents that so I always welcome the opportunity to play with, walk, or take care of dogs at home. Also, my partner and I currently have three wonderful cats and welcome any opportunity to care for and play with cats as well! My partner, Alyssa F., has recently joined me on Rover however for any previous clients I, Matt, will still be the one taking care of your pets! We're in the process of updating our information/pictures to reflect the both of us. *Alyssa* here! I do primarily drop-ins that Matt may not be able to do schedule-wise. I have been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was very young, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds!

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any specific needs or behaviors that I an account for such as being shy or generally unsure about new people. Aggressive behaviors must be communicated before I meet the pet so I can assess accordingly whether I can accept a booking. This is for my own safety. For me, specifics are key with all aspects of pet care as I want to ensure your pet is cared for as you yourself would care for them.

A typical visit or walk will depend on your pet! I’m committed to making sure your dog or cat gets what they need to make sure they are happy and comfortable with any play activities or walks.

Availability
I currently work part time as a lifeguard during the week with a semi flexible schedule which leaves me with plenty of time to care for pets! I will be upfront about my schedule when planning bookings as there may be times during the week I am unable to help due to my part time job.
