Pet care experience
I have experience with all different kinds of animals and all kinds of animal temperaments! We recently moved to Virginia from Washington where I had decades of experience taking care of many different kinds of animals including dogs, cats, and a rabbit. I am proud to have been dog dad to two amazing rescue dogs and have worked with dogs as small as 6 pounds to as large as 120. I have also taken care of dogs that are anti-social with other dogs. I am an avid hiker and walker so I love being outside. I look forward to meeting your animal family!

Matt is the absolute best. I have him walk two of my dogs, One is almost 11, and the other is two and a One is almost 11, and the other is 2 1/2. Obviously, both of them have different energy levels and physical abilities, so they're difficult to walk at the same time, but he was caring and patient with both of them and managed to cater his walks and care for both of them as well as I would have. He also took the time to feed both of them in the afternoon and kept me updated by sharing pictures of my dogs during their walks. I cannot recommend him enough, and I am always going to be thankful for having had such a great experience with him!
Matt was incredible. He took great care of our dog and went above and beyond. We have a large dog that gets reactive on walks and Matt had no problems at all taking care of him. Definitely will use Matt again in the future
Matt is great at handling our big puppy and Toast had such a great time on their walk!
Matt is the perfect Dog Walker for my big chocolate labs. I feel they are extremely safe when they are in his hands.

A typical day
I love to be outside and explore local parks and areas in all weather. One of my favorite games to play with my dogs was 'find it' where I would hide treats in a few areas in the house and they would have to sniff them out. I'm happy to learn your pet's favorite areas to visit and games to play to keep them happy and entertained.

My day is currently very flexible. After our move, I am taking some time away from my job as an environmental geologist and am focusing on family while my wife is focusing on her career.
