Matt was really wonderful when watching my dog and cat. Received pictures and daily updates of my fur babies. Very pleased with his caring attitude and strong communication, will definitely use him again!

I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. Simply put: I would not trust Matt with my dog again. He did not follow explicit verbal instructions, emphasized and given multiple times, to walk our dog with his harness since we keep him in a breakaway collar. I received a vague text hours after an incident where our dog almost got away and the collar was broken. When I called to figure out what happened he was unprofessional, combative, and questioned decisions that we’ve made in the care of our dog. He complained about behaviors we were 100% up front about (jumping and one year old hound energy) after insisting he was used to it and could handle it. He also complained of our dog “acting differently” than when we met for a 15 minute meet and greet on leash in a parking lot, and that’s why he was having such a hard time. While on vacation half way across the country, we ended up having to coordinate with friends back home to leave their own dog with family and pick our dog up for us early because we did not feel comfortable with him staying in Matt’s care any longer. Not surprisingly, our dog was magically perfect as soon as he was in our friends’ care. Our dogs are our babies and I don’t want someone else to feel the frustration and uneasiness we did while leaving our dog in this man’s care.
