Hi, my name is Matilda. My love for dogs stems from a very early age. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd named Theo and before that a beautiful lab-setter mix named Charlie. They were the best dogs, but I think your dog could be just as great! I love spending time with man's best friend because they always bring a smile to my face and it feels good to make a furry friend wag their tail too! I love going to the park or outside to walk, and I can follow instructions if left for me. If your dog is feeling particularly anxious or stressed out I can calm him or her down. I can walk, feed, and play with pups and look forward to fun times and exercise with your dog!

Matilda has watched my dog several times now and she’s always great! I can tell she loves all the dogs she watches after, and she treats them like they’re her own. She’s timely to show up, follows the [very complicated and extra] directions we have for our high maintenance dog, and sends little pictures updates so we know how things are going.

I live in an apartment with a dog park. Additionally, my dog gets multiple .75 mile walks per day just by walking around the complex. If your pup stays with me they will also get to enjoy off leash time in the park and long walks. If I drop in at your home I will make sure water bowl is full, any messes are cleaned up, and pet is well taken care of.

I prefer to know of any allergies, behavior items that need attention, and regular schedule (including potty info). If your dog goes #2 three times a day, I’d like to know so as not to worry that he or she is sick or stressed and going more. If your dog gets anxious when alone, I’d like to be able to turn on the TV and prepare a time consuming treat for them.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks and to the dog park. There is nothing better than running around! If you have a younger healthier dog, we could go for runs. If you have an older, more relaxed dog we could spend time in the sun and get all the pets!! I live near North Lakes Park, so walking in the trails is always an option.

Availability
I work full time during the week but often find myself with plenty of free time on the weekend. Let me help you during a weekend away! If you have emergency needs during the week, I could potentially drop in or take your pup last minute. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful finding someone can be. My dog gets let out every 4 hours and never more than 8 hours if we are away for the day or during the night.
