I’m a ex professional athlete. I retired in order to spend more time with my family and more importantly, my dogs! Growing up in South America made me love animals, from horses to cows to dogs and cats, I love them all. Can’t wait to host your pet’s play date with mine - while you enjoy your vacation! I really pride my self in the care given to animals. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with my babies. As a user of Rover from the customer side, I need to know they will be 100% trustworthy and my vacation will be stress free! That’s the type of service I can provide along side my fiancé who helps me a ton with the doggies!

My pups had an amazing time at Mateo's! They made a new fluffy friend, Duke, that I'm sure they miss. We went away for a long weekend and Mateo was so accommodating for the girls' boarding. My girls are tired out, I think they had an amazing doggy vacation. We got heart melting pics of the dogs smiling and having fun. I'd highly recommend Mateo to look after your furry babies as well!
Mateo took great care of Loki while I went away for a trip. Leading up to it he was very easy to reach and ensured me that Loki would be in very good hands. While I was away he stayed in pretty consistent contact, sending text updates of pictures & videos of Loki which put me at ease. He was patient, understanding & attentive to Loki's particular needs while in his care. I would highly recommend leaving your dog in the care of Mateo.
Five stars! Felt like my dog never left, great updates. I get anxious without my dog around but Matteo's love for dogs calmed all my nerves! I won't trust anyone else on the East coast with my dog.
Atlas had an AMAZING time 100000000/10 rating! Atlas is super high energy and can be on the dramatic side but Mateo was very patient! He provided pics and videos daily. Atlas loved him. Mateo even groomed him!!! You can’t get no better! Atlas is definitely coming back again because he made such great pals with Duke (the golden doodle). Very warm and accommodating to Atlas and therefore will always have us as a client!
