Pet care experience
I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles.

This was the first time Luba had stayed anywhere without me and through pics and videos, it was apparent that she was being well cared for by Mateo and his family. There was not one moment of worry for her on my part. This was an excellent experience and provided much comfort for the 6 nights I was away. Thank you!!!
Mateo and his family took exceptional care of our 11 mo. old puppy, Luca. He's a big boy at 85 lbs. and still has a lot of puppy tendencies. We received regular check-ins and they were very kind and forgiving of his puppy 'quirks.' Would definitely recommend Mateo!
Mateo and his family took such good care of my Daisy for almost a week in their lovely, quiet home in the hills. I got a picture or a video (or both!) every day, with a little reassuring note that was much appreciated!
Amazing host. So thankful Joey was able to stay with this amazing family.

A typical day
Hilo and I walk 3 miles daily and he comes along on most after school activities the kids have during the week. Weekends we are either at games, out and about with Hilo or working at home.

We are an active family and Hilo goes most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel or inside depending on weather.
