I've known Mason for over a year. He has stayed with my family, which currently includes 2 dogs and a cat, and we trust him. He clearly loves animals, and I know he has some experience as a dog handler/trainer. He has watched our pets for us on and off for a day or two at a time before this Christmas. When we asked him to watch and walk our very energetic, year old spaniel mix over the holidays (taking the other dog with us, since she can deal with car trips a lot better), and feed and look after the cat, we wrote out some very specific instructions. I would recommend using a specific list of instructions and contact information no matter who you ask to watch your pets. Mason followed the instructions, and he kept us updated on how our dog and cat were doing over the next two weeks. He alerted us when he thought there might be an issue we'd like to check into when we got home, and even kept our dog with him in his apartment, with our permission. I believe he would be a fine dog sitter for others as well.
