Flexible and will run with your pup
Pet care experience
I am an avid runner and would be happy to take your dog on a run or walk, whatever is best for your furry friend! For a career, I am a life skills trainer for adults with developmental disabilities. I take folks out into the community for exercise, grocery shopping, cooking meals, etc. This allows me to have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and my caregiving experience lends itself to being a great caregiver for dogs! I help a client with her volunteer job in a Memory Care facility where we bring her cat for animal therapy. There are therapy dogs there as well that I interact with. I am comfortable and experienced caring for both puppies and older dogs and giving medication, including insulin injections.
Reviews
Mary is an exceptional human being and fur mom! She cared for our 4 dogs as if they were her own, and sent photos! We were in a bind with our regular pup sitter not being available and she jumped in to help. As a fur mom of a special needs dog with injections and medication I knew our specials needs boy would be well cared for. Thank you Mary for loving on our babies!!

Safety, trust & environment
My older dog has diabetes so I understand the importance of routines. My dogs get fed every twelve hours and Sam is given his insulin. They also get morning and evening walks. I pick up after them in the yard daily, make sure they always have fresh water available and give them as much attention as possible. I will treat your pets with the same love and attention as I treat my own.
Information Marysue T. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know about their temperament and if they have any bad habits I should be aware of. (Do they run off? Nip? Chew? Have anxiety?) None of these are deal breakers but I need to know to give them the best care and to keep us both safe and happy!
A typical day
We can walk in the neighborhood, by the river or go to dog parks. I can throw the ball for your pup and work on any training you have been working on to keep things consistent. I can brush them and trim nails. (My first job was as a "bather/brusher" at Petco, which included trimming nails.)
Services

Availability
My work schedule is flexible and I am often in several areas of town, which makes it easy for me to take care of your pets as well.
