Pet care experience
I have a sweet kitten named Pepper that lives with me and I grew up with a small terrier. I have always taken care of my neighbors pets growing up while they were away and I do the same for my neighbors today here in Buffalo! It has become something I love doing-helping out and getting lots of licks and cuddles as well! I have experience caring for older pets who need special accommodations as well as administering medications or giving any such as insulin shots and SSRI’s

MaryKate is a patient and caring individual and has always shown great love to her own animals and to the animals of others. She is gentle with them and works in a collaborative way with them such as through play, gaining their trust before petting them, feeding them, and communicating with the owners of the animal to ensure she is providing the proper care. MaryKate works with traits such as positivity, enthusiasm, and organization, qualities that both pets and owners will love!
MaryKate is a very responsible pet owner. She takes such great care of her cat Pepper. When I was out of town I had her dog sit my three Weiner dogs. They are very high maintenance dogs but she managed to make sure all their needs were met. She would be a great pet sitter to anyone’s pets, she makes sure to follow any directions given to her and was incredibly sweet to my dogs.
Mary has been so helpful with our puppy. She is patient and kind when caring for him. Mary has been able to take care of him when we are home and out of town by feeding and letting him out. She is trustworthy and reliable. For sure our go-to when help is needed to take care of our little puppy!
While on a week stay vacation, Mary took AMAZING care of my 2 dogs which not only included basic needs such as making sure they’re fed and let outside to use the bathroom but she even went out of her way to bathe my dogs and give them a little grooming day ! She treated my dogs as her own and made sure to be very playful and give them lots of attention. They were taken to a local dog park to play as well with the other dogs and I was given updates and pictures throughout the day.

I would like to be informed of any behavioral aspects that may be important to know beforehand as well as any special accommodations or other little “good to know” tips about your animal! This also includes how your dog is on walks and if they like to greet other dogs along the way or keep to themselves.
A typical day
I love letting the dogs get all their energy out through long walks or lots of running and playing with toys. If your cat likes to socialize then we will play and give lots of scratches too! I love to walk by the water at Hoyt Lake or in Delaware Park.

Availability
I am available for any walks, chow time or playtime on weekends anytime and usually around 3-4pm on weeks days but I can be very flexible and help out in mornings before my day job as well!
