As someone who has owned dogs my entire life and with one very big pup at home today (Great Dane 6y.o), I know the particular qualities people look for when trying to find care for their furry family members. Of course, its important for you to feel comfortable with your walker, but the most important approval is your pal's! In my 6 years experience as a professional walker, I've learned that all dogs are different, and some bonds can take a little longer to build. I currently work with all different tempered dogs (and quite a few rescues), each with their own unique quirks to learn about. When starting with a new client, much like forming a new friendship, it takes time to get to know each other. I worked with another Boston based company for 5 years, and am now seeking clients of my own on the other side of town! I'm hoping to find some new pup friends in the areas of Roslindale, West Roxbury, Dedham, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Newton, Brookline and Chestnut Hill. My usual routine of dog walking, as well as drop-in visits, include a walk of the neighborhood with some yard or park play if the location permits.
