Pet care experience
Occasionally cared for a 4-year-old rescue minpin that was affectionate, yet needy and challenging. She was difficult to walk as she pulled hard on leash, barked, and was high-maintenance. Also cared daily for a live-in 3-year-old min-pin/chihuahua mix rescue that is very playful, a great cuddler, but exhibited anxiety. Used to behaviors in otherwise sweet dogs that require a calm yet commanding personality. Understands counteractive strategies for anxious behaviors, and types of toxic foods dogs should avoid,

When MaryJane would dog sit for me I knew that Chloe would be safe, fed, walked, and played with. When I dropped Chloe off she was happy to go with MaryJane and wouldn't get sad when I would leave. Unfortunatly we relocated, it has been difficult finding someone as loving and dependable as MaryJane.
My dog Buster adores MaryJane. Buster is a 70 lb chocolate lab / pit bull mix with lots of energy. Buster does not play well with other dogs at all. MaryJane is fully aware of Buster's inability to mingle with other dogs and still manages to walk Buster without incident. MaryJane has a great relationship with Buster as well. I almost get jealous of how excited he gets when MaryJane arrives. After walks, Buster is content and exhausted indicating that he get his exercise in.
MaryJane is an amazing person, she is as patient as she is kind. I trust her to take care of my 65 lb., 10 year old Boxer/Hound fur baby (Barbie), who is getting more and more fickle with age. Barbie is very energetic for her age and can be very demanding at times and MaryJane makes sure that she gets the most out their walks. My pups gets super excited when she sees MaryJane, eager for their next adventure!
I'm proud to call MaryJane a close friend and fantastic former roommate. She is hardworking, loving, responsible, joyful, and a caring soul. I've seen her in a variety of nurturing roles, including as a dog walker, dog sitter, and nanny-- she is patient, generous, thoughtful, fun, and always goes above and beyond! I could not recommend anyone more than MaryJane!
