I’ve always loved animals and have taken care of pets since I was a kid. I have a degree in Animal Science, worked as a veterinary assistant and am currently an environmental science & biology high school teacher.

Maryann is one of the most experienced pet caregivers I have met. I own 125 pound Pooch that is not the easiest to care for, most people would be scared to deathly him. She has absolutely no problems with him & shows great expertise in working and watching him. I also have a parrot. Every time she walks in the house, he flies straight over to Maryann and doesn’t want her to go. Maryann is reliable and a pleasure to work with. Five stars
I am Mary Ann's sister and can attest to the fact that she is an avid pet lover. As a child, she would bring strays home and nurse them back to health. She pursued a degree in animal husbandry and received her master's degree from Cornell Vet School. Her lifelong love of animals is evident in the number of dogs and other pets she has owned and nurtured throughout the years. She is the first person I call when I have a sick cat or need animal behavioral advice. Knowledgeable and caring, Mary Ann would make an excellent dog walker and pet sitter.

A typical day
I love to go for long walks and hikes with dogs. Plenty of exercise opportunities and socializing with my active dog. Can take your dogs for a swim at the lake down the road for a nice cool down.

I’m currently available after 3pm on weekdays. I’m available most weekends and school holidays. Will have more availability this summer break. Love taking my dog on long walks and hikes!
