Pet care experience
Previously went by Marya. I have lived with dogs since I was born and I love them more than anything. I have two pups at home, Bart and Ruth. Currently working early mornings at UPS and taking two afternoon classes. I can walk your dog, come visit to let it out to go potty, and, depending on the days, I can housesit. I’m living in downtown Duluth, but am willing to travel up to 20 minutes or so for gigs. I’d love to meet you and your pet(s) so we can set something up. Miro has been my go-to dog walker for almost 5 years now. They have been super flexible with scheduling and quick response time. First time as a house sitter & so happy that not only my pups were taken care of well, but also I could tell that the cats were happy when I got back which were not a part of the Rover agreement. Super quick response time via the messenger and highly recommend. :)
Marya was very sweet with our dogs and made sure that they were taken care of while we were out of town for the day. Our dog Roscoe is sometimes nervous with new people dropping in when we’re gone so Marya came to meet them the day before. We really appreciated knowing they were well taken care of via updates, it allowed us to enjoy visiting family and not have to worry.
Wonderful experience!! Will absolutely have her back in the future !!
Marya was good with communicating but not very good with following our instructions on how to feed our dogs and I was disappointed to find my dogs without any water on a hot day and diarrhea

In regards to housesitting: I love when I am able to take dogs out for hikes in some of my favorite local parks like Brighton Beach and Hawk Ridge. I typically will only do this if it’s just one dog, though, as I have a relatively small car. For drop ins: I love playing tug of war and a good game of fetch never fails. If the dog is more laid back, I also love just giving them some good rubs.

Let me know if your dog has any particular behaviors I should be on the look out for. For example, my dog Ruth likes to get into the cats litter box and eat poop, so we’re extra cautious about keeping the litter boxes only accessible for the cat.
A typical day
I really enjoy getting out into nature and hiking, especially with a dog. Some of my favorite spots are Brighton Beach, Hawk Ridge, and Lester Park.

Availability
I’m currently working early mornings at UPS Tuesday through Saturday from about 4am-10am. I am also taking two classes at UMD which I am done with by 3. I’m willing to fit dog walking and drop in visits in whenever I can. I am able to housesit pretty much any day of the week as long as I am able to leave for work and school.
