Mary was very unprofessional throughout the stay. I was supposed to leave my dog with Mary for 10 days while I traveled home for the holidays. Mary did not follow my instructions on dog care and allowed my dog to be put in situations I specifically told her would not be appropriate. After 6 days Mary cancelled the stay at 2:30 in the morning. I received texts and calls to find substitute sitting for my dog, which I did as soon as the first kennel opened in the morning. Mary refused to take my dog to the kennel unless I paid her additional money. On top of all of that, when my dog was finally brought to the kennel, he was left scared and alone with none of his toys, blankets, bed, or bone. Mary held onto everything I brought with my dog until I returned and claimed to have forgotten to bring a few things. This was obviously untrue and Mary was not flexible or cooperative at all. I am still missing the tags off my dogs collar and he is still upset over the way Mary treated him. If you care about your dog at all, do not allow Mary to take care of them. Mary is unresponsive, disrespectful and not equip to handle another person's dog.

Mary would make an EXCELLENT pet sitter! She is very patient with animals and cares for them well, and dogs always respond positively to her. Mary is responsible and trustworthy and would do an excellent job with your beloved pet!
