Pet care experience
I have 11 years experience handling dogs of many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and sizes. I graduated with Distinction from the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training. I have experience handling fearful, aggressive, and reactive canines using force/fear free and science based training techniques. I have worked in many areas of the petcare industry including retail, boarding, daycare, medical, grooming and training. I have over 20 certificates in my field. I am ASPCA/Humane Alliance veterinary assistant certified. I am an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, a Duke University Dognition Evaluator, and Certified Trick Dog Instructor. I service the islands of Whitemarsh, Wilmington, and Talahi.

Safety, trust & environment
For safety reasons, I require all clients to do a meet & greet prior to any services being booked. Arrangements for house entry )keys/garage clickers) can be made on a case by case basis.
Information Mary W. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know all about your dog! What does he or she enjoy? What do the dislike? Are there situations where they become fearful, anxious or reactive? Is your dog just a big love bug? (Puppy cuddles and slobber kisses are my favorite!). Does your dog have any food allergies or medical conditions?
A typical day
During the time I spend with your dogs they will get to enjoy fun enrichment activities, conditioning games, and leisurely strolls. You can rest assured that no matter rain or shine, your fur baby gets the physical and mental exercise they need. I also incorporate basic manners training during each visit so that your dog doesn't pick up any naughty habits. If your dog uses an e-collar(shock), prong, or choke chain, they will be required to wear either a harness or flat buckle collar(martingale collars allowed for some breeds) during my time with them. I will explain more about why I have this rule during our meet-and-greet!
