We live in rural Hudson on 2.5 acres with a small woods and land that is generally left untouched in order to welcome wildlife. Our own dog, Cody, a yellow lab of 8 years, gets many daily walks on our land and your wonderful pet, on a long lead, would be very welcome to enjoy long and short jaunts and the variety of exciting scents that the land provides! We also give the dogs walks in the quiet neighborhood. We do have free range chickens but they will stay in their large pen when your pet visits. My husband enjoys fires at the fire pit in the back of our land and woodworking in the garage. Often, to his chagrin, the dogs follow him around as the Alpha of the house! I enjoy bringing the dogs on walks and sometimes to a nearby lake if they are swimmers. Our 3 sons, 16, 19, 21 are available for tug of war, fetching or cuddles (but the dogs are always supervised by my husband and I for my son under 18 years).
