Mary sent me many photos and texts to let me know that Benny was being well-loved by her whole family. It put me at ease to know he had so much companionship throughout the weekend. Benny appeared to enjoy his stay! Mary was flexible about drop-off/pick-up times, and the house is very easy to get to off major roads, yet is in a quiet neighborhood (and they have a fence). We will keep Mary ...

Mary and her family were great. My dog, Rosie seemed very comfortable there. Mary sent pictures which helped me feel better about her first time stay at someone else's home.

Mary took good care of Tex, and I will be bringing him back again in June.

Dog lovers & previous rescuers here to help!

A loving family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child) with a long dog ownership and dog rescue history have opened their home to care for your pet. We own our home in a peaceful neighborhood, many of whom own and love dogs as well. Our immediate neighbors both own and love dogs too! We have a large fenced in yard and are non-smokers. We walk the dogs 2-3 times a day on a leash ...

What Mary would like to know about your dog

Before sitting for a dog I would need copies of their updated shot record. I would also like to know if they've been spayed/neutered, if they get along with other pets, and if they get along with children. If not, I can keep them separate from other pets/children. I just like to know before hand so I can prepare accordingly.

When Mary watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
I live close to four parks, all within a few blocks from me. We walk around the neighborhood or to the parks daily, sometimes a few times a day depending on the weather. If it's rainy or bad weather we play in the backyard for briefer periods of time. When the sun's out, however, my son LOVES to run/walk the dogs 3 times a day. Many times the daycare and myself will accompany them on the walks to play with the animals. We try to wear them out, but I think they wear the kids out first. LOL

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
I have a 5 bedroom home and dogs have slept in the living room, in the kitchen, in their beds (if they brought one), and in their kennels (if they bring one). If they prefer to be alone or away from the daycare children, I have a separate bedroom that they can go into and the children know not to go into it because that's the "Pet Sanctuary" and "Nap Room". :-)

Time I'll spend with your dog
We spend all our time with the dogs. I have a 15 year old son that walks them and plays with them constantly. I also have a licensed daycare and the children love playing with the dogs inside and outside. They play tug-o-war with the bigger dogs and fetch with a ball and a frisbee. Check out my photos and you will see some of what goes on here at Miss Mary's.
