I love dogs. I love that they each have their own personalities. I can’t believe we get to even have them in our lives! Ever since we adopted the cuddliest dog, Virgil, I’ve felt lucky to be his “Human Mama”. We work hard to make sure he has a good life (walks, training, lots of treats, socialization, a coat in the winter), and would do no less for your beloved pup. I have a remote job with a flexible schedule, and would love to drop in on - or walk your dog during the day (though I’m flexible on times). Gets me out of the house! Ideally it’d be awesome to bring my pup on the walk too, but we can chat about that if there’s a conflict!!

Mary was so great. We came back from our vacation to find our car had been towed and she last minute drove my pup home. So so nice! Provided tons of updates and my dog seemed to love her. Def recommend!

Mary is just a lover! She's so great with keeping me up to date on how my sweet lil lady pup is doing and my pup is on her best behavior with her. Mary is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend her for any and all of your animals!

We believe dogs should have good lives - and that they should get to be outside and exercised and have a reliable home. We will treat other dogs like our own. We have a fenced in back yard and allow dogs to roam back there as much as they like. We do some training too if you’re interested. Or can work on the progress you’ve started. As a dog walker or drop in visitor, I will be kind and aware of how you prefer to do things.

If I’m walking your food, ideally it’d be nice to introduce him to my dog first… or eventually. I’d like him to join in on the walk too! When booking, I will want to know more about what your dog’s likes, dislikes and needs are so I can come prepared.
A typical day
Walks, snuggling, playing. Perhaps a hike or an adventure- but it depends on how good they are on a leash (if they pull a lot I sometimes can’t control the pulling- literally got swept away by a dog once!). Working on training? Happy to help. Let me know what your pup needs to feel comfortable and happy.

Availability
Our dog is our family member, if you’re wondering how our dog fits into our routine. He’s just a part of us. We work from home most of the time so if we get to watch your pup, can provide stimulation interaction, exercise and treats. If your pup isn’t good on a leash we can throw toys for them in the back yard! I’m also willing to work on training with them, I’ve taught our dog some basic commands. Availability-wise, weekend are a little bit more spontaneous.
