Pet care experience
I have worked at a doggie daycare for two years, I own a pet photography business, and I also have owned dogs throughout the entirety of my life. I also volunteer at Verona Street weekly, and I work with animal rescues by doing dog photography. I am currently able to offer dog boarding. I have an eight-year-old golden retriever, and a 6 month old golden mix. Both of my dogs are females. I also have experience with administering medications to dogs and basic first-aid with dogs. I will take cute photos of your dogs, of course, since my world revolves around taking dog photos! Due to my job plus volunteering experience, I am confident in my ability to read dog behavior. Important Info: *COVID-19: due to the pandemic, meet and greets will need to happen outdoors. I must require that people where a mask, as I had a thyroid cancer diagnosis during quarantine. Although I have recovered from my surgery, I still have one upcoming treatment in July, and I will need to ensure I’m healthy for this treatment. At a meet and greet for a boarding visit, I will recommend that we meet in my backyard so your dog(s) and my dogs can meet off-leash. We will need to stay a distance apart during this, plus wearing masks. I can send you photos of the interior of my house via Rover for confirmation that my home is dog safe. We can go over socially distant drop-off/pick-up measures after booking. Thank you for being patient during this time! I look forward to going “back to normal” after this all settles down more. I will always suggest a meet and greet so your dog(s) can meet mine! At the meet and greet, please bring up to date vaccines for your dog(s) or send a photo of them to me via message. I have to go to work most days, hours varying (6:30am-early afternoon, 12pm-6pm). Please provide a crate if your dog is normally crated during your work day. While I am at work, I will periodically be checking my pet cam to ensure the safety and comfort of your pup. If your pet is free roam (not destructive & house-trained), they will have free roam in the bedroom. If I work a long day, I will be able to come home and check in & offer a potty break during my lunch break. Please let me know of any medical concerns, behavioral concerns, or quirks as little as they may be. I prefer to make a dog’s experience the absolute best that it can be, and knowing little things about them helps us to understand each other even more! I will be offering a complimentary mini-photoshoot for your dog(s) during their stay.

We will use her again and again she takes such good care of our pup
Mary is beyond amazing. From the meet and greet, to the drop off, then to the pick up- everything was so smooth. Her experience with animals is like no other. Our doggo loved her and her dogs, they all got along extremely well, and I was super comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Though we live less than a mile from her, doggo fell asleep on the way home because he got more attention with Mary than he's had in a while. She is a true animal lover and I appreciate the love and knowledge she shared. Will DEFINITELY be booking with Mary again!
I highly recommend Mary! She made us feel welcome from the minute we met her. She continually updated us throughout the duration of Bentley's stay with her. Thank you so much! A++
Our Billy had such a great time staying at Mary’s! Mary sent many pictures, and in each one, Billy was happy and content. He enjoyed Mary’s two dogs and seemed to fit in well. Mary’s house will definitely be Billy’s second home when we go away!
