I have years of pet owning experience. Living in Wisconsin I helped train two Shetland sheepdogs with my family. Now in DC I feel dog-deprived! I can go for runs or walk with dogs and can handle high energy or a more seasoned, relaxed type dog. No matter what, your dog will get lots of love during our time together! I do work 8-4, Monday-Friday, but am very flexible about traveling to and from homes on the week nights and the weekends. I have overnight dog sitting experience in Crystal City and can promise a smooth, easy experience with a responsible individual. I'm located in the heart of DC, only blocks from Union Station and the Capitol Building, making any home on a metro line very accessible.

Mary was an awesome dog/house-sitter! She updated us each day on how Boston was doing, and was very respectful of our home (and even kept an eye on our AC, which had recently been fixed). We will definitely be using her in the future!!
Mary was so great and flexible while we were traveling for almost 2 weeks. Our Wally loved her!! And, she was super respectful of our home, sent lots of pictures, and made us feel better to be gone from our dog and home for so long.
Mary was conscientious, kind, and communicative. Completely trustworthy with home and heart. Melony was well taken care of as was our home. Mary will be our go to for any pet sitting!

A typical day
Depending on the dog's constitution and training, I can walk to dog parks or run around the neighborhood. It's difficult to find a place in the city with running room, but depending on the area I love playing catch and running around with the dog. However, if the dog is a bit older and prefers lazy walks (especially in this summer heat!) I'm perfectly fine with those type of walk too!
