Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Mary! I've lived in a household with pets my whole life, and have had up to 5 pets at a time at different points in my life. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes (from a Min Pin to a Mastiff), all ages (puppy to elderly) and all needs (including experience administering injections and medications). I currently have one pet, a cat named Thursday, who is my everything! I’m an active individual and am happy to walk or run with your dog (or your cat, if they’re leash trained!). I am a social worker by trade, so I bring transparency, communication and care to all of my endeavors. I’m excited to get to meet you and your pet!

I have a fenced in backyard and live walking distance from Tower Grove Park- a great spot for dog walks! As mentioned, I do have a cat, so any animals who come to stay with me would need to be comfortable with another animal (although if it’s for a short stay, it would be feasible for me to keep the two completely separated if needed). In terms of coming into your home, I believe in leaving it exactly how I found it, and I take extra care to ensure the place is locked and secured when I leave. My golden rule has always been to treat others the way you would want to be treated- and this applies to my interactions with your home as well as your pets!

I am comfortable with all breeds big and small! Would just generally like to know about the dogs disposition, any preferences they have and what their daily schedule looks like.
A typical day
I’m willing to walk, run, play frisbee or fetch with your pup! Also, a very good belly scratcher or cuddler for any pets who are less active.

Availability
I work full time on weekdays, but have the flexibility to leave the office for quick visits throughout the day. It would be easy for me to be available every 4 hours or so, even on days when I’m working. I’m free evenings and weekends, withstanding planned trips and activities, which will be marked in my availability.
