Pet care experience
My senior dog of 13 years passed away in June 2021, so I am looking for some new dog friends to play with, care for, and cuddle! I love to hike and play at the beach if your dog needs exercise and adventure. I go to Crissy Field most mornings, and I would be happy to bring your dog along. I only use positive reinforcement. I have 25 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I board dogs 50lbs and under.

Mary was great with our dog Hobbes. Hobbes was recovering and needed some oral medications to be administered. Mary was very responsive, shared daily updates and photos and is someone we would absolutely trust our precious pet with again. My pet was taken great care of by Mary!
Mary always takes such great care of Sadie! I trust and appreciate her so much. My dog can be anxious and is not good with kids, so she requires some TLC attention. Mary makes her comfortable and happy with all the walks, cuddles, hikes, etc. and creates an amazing environment. Sadie slowly warms up to people, but she now runs to Mary's door every time.
Mary took great care of our puppy at her home for our multi night boarding. She shared lots of yummy treats with him and sent us cute photos daily. Mary was super easy to communicate with and was thoughtful to make it a smooth transition for our puppy. We would recommend Mary!
Mary is fantastic! She is so good with my little dog, who can be anxious/nervous. She sends regular updates and is incredibly responsive to both my dogs needs and any changes I may have in my schedule/travel plans. I’m lucky to have found Mary!

Your dog will have full access to my apartment and a shared, fenced yard (my neighbor’s dog is sometimes in the yard too.) I am happy to crate your dog if they feel more comfortable with that, but I do not require a crate unless your dog has separation anxiety and/or chews things. Dogs are allowed on the bed in my home

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors. I board dogs who are generally comfortable around children and other dogs since my neighborhood is full of both! I do not have either, but my neighbor’s dog and children are on the property.
A typical day
I love hanging out at the dog parks or taking dogs on beach walks and hikes in SF & Marin. I also have puzzle games and chew toys for inside fun too!
