All Pet Boarding and Medical Care

Pet care experience

Hello, I have 25 yrs experience as a NYS licensed veterinary technician. I also have a degree in Animal Sciences from SUNY Farmingdale. I love dogs and cats and really enjoy helping to bring them back to good health. In addition to standard boarding, house sitting, and dog walking, I'm hoping to be of service to local pet owners whose pets have medical needs tended to in their absence. I will give general care, feeding and administer medications with expert techniques. I am willing to travel to your home or board at my home, whichever is needed. I also do medication visits where I stop by just to give prescribed medications if you find it too difficult to administer them to your pet on your own! Need a service I haven't mentioned? Just ask!

Sasha was happy over the weekend with her pet sitter Mary, She always send me pictures and updates about my dog. I recommend her as a pet sitter.

I was very happy with the services provided by Mary when I left my dog in her care for one week. My dog is like my child so I like to make sure he is happy, well fed, played with, and just all around taken care of when I leave him in the care of someone. I've had others watch my dog before but I know I will go back for Mary services because my dog came back happy, healthy and well socialized because my dog got to hang out with her 2 pugs. I was 100% completely happy with all her services and hope when I have to leave town again that I can count on Mary to take such great care of my Jackson like he was one of her own!! Love the fact that there is a fenced in nice sized yard for my dog to run and play, water provided at all times, my dog even got to sleep in his own dog bed. I brought so much stuff with me for my Jackson before I left because I was worried he was going to miss me but when I went to pick him up I was happy to see that he was all smiles and didn't seem like he had really missed me that much because he had other dogs to hang with!

Information Mary P. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to keep your dog as relaxed and happy as possible. Here are some things to think about and to do before boarding. Please provide an ample amount of the food he/she normally eats with directions on how much and how often you normally feed your dog. Also, how often does your dog need to go outside for bathroom breaks? Does he/she like to go outside before a meal, after a meal, or both? What times of day is the dog used to going outside and what times do you normally feed him/her? Does your pet have any allergies or dietary restrictions? Are there any specific fears the dog has which I can avoid? Has your dog ever shown aggression to people or other dogs? Has your dog ever bitten anyone? Is your dog possessive of his/her food and needs to eat in a separate area? Does your dog have any favorite toys you'd like to send with him/her? Where does your dog sleep? If you have a bed and/or portable crate for your dog, I would suggest to bring that along for boarding. This will really help your dog feel safe right from the start.

A typical day

I generally prefer to allow dogs to use the yard rather than walking them off my property. This provides more safety and security for your dog! I do understand that some dogs just need their walks, so just let me know what your dog needs.
