Pet care experience
I started caring for animals when I was 14 yrs old. Since then, I've done rescue work, helping hundreds of animals find new homes..my mom always asked when I was bringing home the elephant. Never found one, but came across everyone else! I volunteered at a shelter and I helped deliver kittens. I have worked with dogs, cats, birds, geckos, pot bellied pigs, sheep, goats, horses, chickens, guinea hens, Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish and bearded dragons. I'll accept any and all. Love all animals. After yrs of rescuing, my 2 babies adopted me and I would give the world for them and I would treat your babies as my own. I am fine with giving medications. Any special instructions, just let me know. I'm more than happy to send pictures of them while you are away.

NO breed restrictions!!!!! Just let me know if they have any behaviors to watch for. I AM TOTALLY FINE with Pitties, Rotties, Dobies and Shepherds and Huskies and Chows and Chihuahuas and Mastiffs and......ANY other breed on that "restricted " list. All breeds are fine with me. ***Please no aggressive humans***
A typical day
Play catch, tug-of-war, walks in park, dog park, wherever the dog is already comfortable in going. Let me know of any behaviors to be aware of. Ex. Dog aggression, toy aggression, etc. I know we would like our dog to like everyone else, but they are like people. Not everyone gets along and it's ok. But just give me a heads up and I'll make sure we still have fun. I haven't had much experience with special needs dogs. I do have a cat who is FeLV positive. If your animal has any special needs, please just let me know and show me how to care for them. I am a quick learner and will ask questions to clarify anything. I was an EMT for 4 yrs and a nursing student.
