Pet care experience
My husband and I have our own dogs, but we always have room for one more! Our 2 pups love everyone and they are already pretty practiced at the snuggling. Dogs are allowed on the furniture in our home and they can either sleep in the kitchen or the bed, whichever works best for you. The yard is not fenced yet, but dogs can go outside on a lead or take walks around the neighborhood with us. We love to visit the dog park for extra running around. I run a yarn dyeing business our of our home, but animals are not allowed in the room while that is happening.

Mary and Michael are the best pet sitters out there. They sent me daily photos (even knowing I had no cell service and couldn’t see them). They made our dog feel comfortable right away, which is not an easy feat! This was our second time leaving our dog with them. She warmed up right away, like she remembered the good times she had before. The first stay took her DAYS before she felt comfortable. This time, she was snuggling and playing with the other dogs on day one. I HIGHLY recommend Mary and Michael.

We can make space for a crate or separate animals in the kitchen area if needed for sleeping or workdays. Our pups are home to keep yours company all the time. We do not have a fenced yard, but we can take your pup for walks or let them out on a lead for breaks. There is also a dog park nearby when they want to run.

Our only requirements are that your dog get along with us and ours. If they are still house training, we just need some warning so we can be ready.
A typical day
We love taking our own dogs to the park for running around, but we can also go on walks in our neighborhood. We are used to lots of tug of war with our littlest and our bigger has his own version of fetch (where he finds the toy but just lets us know where it landed so we can pick it up to throw again.) Your pup can join, or if they have a favorite game we can play that as well.

Availability
We both work during the day, but slightly different hours. So I make sure all the animals are good later in the morning and he checks on everyone earlier in the afternoon. I run a yarn business so I have a couple evenings a week I am gone but Mike is home and ready for pup care those times.
