Mary McElrath has advocated for pets since we met over 10 years ago. As a former Educator, Mary would watch teachers' pets when they leave on vacation, care for them at her home, or go to our colleague's home and care for them there. As a prominent person in the community serving as a former officer, teacher, and American Legion leader, Mary was familiar with the area to support educators quickly. Mary has always been an advocate for animals and supported her daughter in creating a healthy food pet business.
