Pet care experience
From dogs and cats to chickens and rats, Mary and Marc are pet-sitting pros. We have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and all sorts of other critters. At the moment we have no pets of our own, and so we love to care for other people's animals to get our furry friend fix in. Our home has a fenced-in backyard and is a 3-minute walk from the largest open-space dog park we’ve ever seen. Mary works freelance in the film industry, while Marc works from home as a web developer. This allows us to be around for your pet’s needs and give them attention throughout the day. As avid climbers and skiiers, we love staying active and enjoy taking the animals we sit for on adventures on the weekends. To top it off as a team, we are able to shower your fuzz-muffin with DOUBLE THE LOVE.

Great sitters and very responsive.
Wow, best dog-sitters ever!!! I was nervous about leaving my little guy for two weeks. He's a rescue who's only been with us for 7 months and is pretty nervous and shy with some behavioral issues we're still trying to work through. I shouldn't have worried. He took to both Mary and Marc almost immediately and had tons of fun adventures with them! They also did a great job taking care of the house - watered the plants and mowed the lawn and kept the place clean. It was so nice coming home at 11:30 p.m. from a long day of travel to fresh sheets and a clean house! I truly can't say enough good things about this power-duo. They were quick to respond when I had questions and sent amazing photos of the fun they had with Dutch. I'm really grateful for all they did to put my nervous little guy at ease and give him a happy two weeks. They will definitely be my first choice the next time I'm headed out of town.
Firstly, they were an amazing partnership taking care of Sky. She was depressed after they left! She was in fantastic condition when we got back. They took her for a terrific hike and sent us wonderful pictures of her during their stay. Because of the inefficiency of Iceland Air, we were stuck in Reykjavik for a day longer than expected and Mary and Marc just kicked in and stayed the extra time making sure Sky was fed and taken out for breaks. Secondly, they took care of our house so that we could not tell there had been anyone there. Spotless! Looked like we had never left. There was a major rain storm and they found a leak in the roof that they left us notice of. They even took care of the plants as well. Fantastic job! Would not consider using anyone else, if they are available again.
Wonderful people and pet sitters. We had Mary and Marc watch our two dogs for over a week. They stayed in our home. We were sent gorgeous pictures of their long walks and came home to a clean house -they even cleaned the sheets! The only issue was that my dogs missed them so much. Lol! I loved knowing that someone was always here with my babies. Especially my elderly dog who takes meds. They gave a lot of extra love and care and we’re very nice to work with. I’d use them every time!

Let us know how your animal interacts with other animals and humans and if they have any aggression tendencies. Also if we will need to administer special medications/foods. We are open to more needy pets, but need to know in advanced to make sure we are planning for them accordingly.
A typical day
We live right next to an open space dog park and love taking dogs there if they are friendly towards other dogs. Otherwise, we have a large winding neighborhood to walk them in on top of our sizeable backyard. We love cuddling pups and cats and talking their ear off in silly voices. We generally get outdoors on the weekends and like to take the animals we sit with us if they are up for an adventure. We also have many friends with pets and like to set up play dates.

Mary & Marc can watch in your home
Availability
Marc works 9 am to 5 pm from home Monday through Friday. He is able to regularly give scritches and love throughout his work day. Mary works freelance in the film industry. This means she is half the time working from home and half time out on a shoot on a long day. We usually take off a 2-3 evenings of the week to go climb at the gym for a few hours.
