I have been around and loved animals my whole life. I grew up in an animal lover household with many pets, so I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your fur babies! I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school when our neighbors, family and friends would go out of town. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including cats, dogs, hamsters, ferrets, fish and birds. I am currently enrolled in a veterinary assisting program at Harrison College where I study animal anatomy and physiology, common animal diseases, pharmacology, and practice skills I will use in a veterinary clinic setting. I also work with and care for the dogs and cats that live at the school's kennel. My goal is to move on to an advanced veterinary technology program and enroll in basic law enforcement training to become an animal care and control officer. I have previously worked as a volunteer with the Indianapolis Humane Society. I loved spending time with shelter animals, and I gained experience working with all different sizes and temperaments. I hope I get the chance to meet and care for your best friends!
