Pet care experience
I’m extremely outgoing and have a knack for taking care of doggos, especially the more anxious/special/nervous Nellie type! I grew up with multiple Guinea pigs, fish, and dogs in the house ever since I can remember. I now own two rescue pups, Lou & Mabel, who are scared of people and things, so nervous pups are my specialty. I am passionate about seeing puppos exude confidence and enjoy their sniffaris (safaris) every single day as they should! I feed, provide pills, walk, run, jog, snuggle all dogs and would be more than thrilled to take on your puppo!
Reviews
Mary was great! She kept in constant communication throughout our trip, and constantly sent pictures to us while we were gone. Would definitely rebook!
Mary was absolutely wonderful!!! My dog is very needy and has separation anxiety. I always feel guilty leaving him, but Mary made sure he was loved on and spoiled while I was away. She left my place spotless, responded quickly, and sent lots of pictures. I would highly recommend her. I will be asking her to sit again in the future! ?
Legit amazing! My dog took to her immediately which is rare and as an anxious helicopter dog mom, she really put my mind at ease. Super understanding of all of my dog’s little quirks and my anxieties and is a great communicator too, before and during her time with him. I don’t trust just anyone with my dog since, like I said he’s particular and cautious with new people without me, but she knew exactly how to work with him and he adores her. I want to book her all the time!
Very nice and did so well with Crew!

I meet every dog with care and respect the first time, making sure to meet on eye level and only approaching if the dog shows interest in me first. I treat each client and dog as if it were my own dog in my own home — I make sure to leave any area cleaner than when I found it and will go the extra mile to make sure the client is happy with my services. I want their pets to feel just as comfortable around me as they do their own parents, and I want the clients to trust I will care for their puppos as I would my own. Our dogs are religiously given Heartworm, taken to Brookside Veterinary Clinic for routine healthcare, and never put in situations that I know would make them uncomfortable. I would make sure your dogs are treated the exact same way.
Information Mary M. would like to know about your pet
Their preference on human interaction, tolerance for children and other mammals, their triggers or vices, favorite treats, allergies, and any other special quirks! What makes them most happy, and what makes them most afraid.
A typical day
I love taking puppos to the Swope park trail right across from KC pet project — it’s very quiet, secluded, and never busy. It’s about a 1.5 mile loop that can be done countless times and allows puppos to get allll the smells in! I also love driving over to Longview Lake and other longer trailheads in the area for the most outdoorsy, out-of-city trails. Always ending with a pup cup from Starbucks or Andy’s, of course!

Availability
I work remotely 40 hours a week with a very flexible, open-ended schedule. I am available for you whenever you may need. As long as I have wifi, I am available to work and stay from your home in terms of overnight or in-home stays, whereas in terms of walking or check-in requests, I can take care of your puppo in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Happy to work with you on scheduling!
