Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Mary! I live in Salt Lake City and grew up with many pets, including a cavalier king charles spaniel named Cooper. This is when my love for dogs began and I have been caring for animals ever since. I have experience walking and dog-sitting for dogs of all size. I enjoy running and am typically always training for the next half marathon, so I love dogs that I can bring running with me. I work as a wilderness therapy guide and have a somewhat flexible schedule to allow caring for dogs. Please reach out to me with any other questions you may have!

I love getting out for walks or runs in any weather and am always happy to have a companion. When dog sitting I take dogs out on walks at least twice per day and try to be around to keep them company as much as possible. I have a fenced-in yard at home which makes it easy to let dogs out for potty breaks as well.

It is important to know how they interact with other people and animals. I need to know if I should be careful around other animals or if there is anything that will make them upset.
A typical day
I am happy to be as active as your pup prefers. I love exploring new hiking trails and parks, but am also happy hanging out and keeping them company if they like a slower paced day.

I have every other week off of work and am available at any time during these long breaks. This makes dog sitting easy during my off shifts.
