I have taken care of a variety of four legged critters for over forty years. Recently lost my beloved 15 year old dachshund and have lots of hope to share my love with your pet.

Really helped me out at the last minute when I had plans change and had to bring my Labrador, Duck. I left my dirty dogs and didn’t worry about them one it. First River experience and it won’t be my last. I wish I could give 10 stars. Highly recommend!
Mary Lou was amazing! Our dog has a bit of separation anxiety, but he settled right in with her. She gave plenty of updates and photos and you can tell how much she really loves being around pups. Highly recommend.
She recently watched a dog for me who had real separation anxiety and she handled him like a champ! Would recommend and will ask her to help again

I am a retired special education teacher so am particularly sensitive to non-verbal cues from pets! I appreciate the opportunity to bond and care for your Angel!
A typical day
Your pet dictates my schedule. I am awake and walk early in the morning (5:00 am) and have hiking and walking trails with areas for exercising and playtime out of doors.
