Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Mary and I have been professionally working with dogs for over 3 years. I have worked at veterinary offices as both a vet assistant and a kennel worker. This has helped develop skills to work with different breeds and personalities. I am also able to administer medication. I can administer insulin, oral liquid, or pills. At home I have 3 pups of my own. Two of them are shar-pei mixes and the other one is a great dane. Each one of my fur-babies has there own personality and energy level. While one loves to run and chase balls, another one is being lazy and just wants to be pet. No day is the same, but that's what makes this field wonderful.

Information Mary K. would like to know about your pet

I love meeting the parents and fur babies a few times before I actually take over the drop-ins. This way the parents can show me what they expect out of each visit but also to meet and make sure personalities match between the fur babies and I. Other things I perfer to know: - Are they up to date on vaccinations? - Does your pet have any medical conditions that I need to know about? - What breed and personality type are your pets? -Does your pet like something more then others? (running over walking, balls or stuff toys, ect) - Please let me know anything relevant to the possible care of your pets

A typical day

The fun activities that your rover and I will be doing depends greatly on their personality and what they love to do. If he is a rambunctious pup, then in a closed in fence area will probably where we will run out his energy until he is calm enough to go for a walk. If rover is able to walk calmly on a leash then we will spend some time walking around the local neighborhood and actives that he enjoys. In extreme weather (i.e. rain, snow, freezing weather) exercise will be controlled with in the house.
