Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by dogs and have been an animal enthusiast my entire life, and I have experience owning a variety of pets of all shapes and sizes- not just limited to dogs! I have volunteer experience at the Humane Society in Columbia, Missouri, job-shadowing experience in veterinary clinics, and have been a professional pupper-sitter for a few years now :) I have excellent attention to detail and am quick to communicate with my clients when needed. It brings me joy to care for animals - they're part of the family too! I am comfortable with most sizes of dogs; I have watched canines that range in size from chihuahuas to Burmese mountain dogs, and I love them all. I am very punctual and organized, and I am a respectful house guest. I respond as efficiently as possible to calls, texts, and emails. For clients who are concerned or immunosuppressed in any way, I am vaccinated and boosted.

Mary was absolutely fantastic! We had a last-minute cancellation & she jumped right in and saved our trip. She sent lots of pictures & updates of our 3 rescue dogs, and was able to handle a minor health concern (scratched eye) w/ one of our dogs like a champ. Our house was spotless when we got home and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and re-book her!!

I like to be present with the animal. I'm not the type of sitter to just "check in" on the dog twice or three times a day. Animals get lonely too, and it can be scary and stressful when mom and dad leave! I enjoy going on walks and I try to stick to the animal's normal routine as closely as possible in terms of feeding, walking, playtime, and bed time. I'm easy to reach via phone or email and I'm quick to reach out if I have any questions or if there's an emergency.

I would like to know if the dog has a problematic temperament, so I can be prepared on how to approach the animal. Additionally, please tell me if your animal has a sensitive digestive system and please advise any specific related care instructions. I also have no issue with administering medications that the animal needs, with some pointers beforehand from the owner.
A typical day
I love taking walks, and I love playing too. I typically stick to neighborhoods and dog parks; I prefer not to take your animal anywhere that is unfamiliar territory for him/her. I'm not opposed to just snuggling either!

I am currently working remotely, so my schedule and work location is flexible! I am typically tied up Mondays from 10am until noon in Zoom meetings, and Wednesday evenings I'm usually busy from 6pm to 9pm.
