Pet care experience
I currently work from home, which luckily allows me time and flexibility to take care of lovable pups. I just absolutely adore taking care of dogs! I’ve been a longtime dog owner, and have always taken in rescue dogs to rehabilitate them and provide them with a forever home. I’m currently the proud mom of a 1-year-old mixed puppy, who always loves to play with other pups! We also have one cat at home, but she likes to keep to herself most of the time. Although I’ll be the primary caregiver, my husband of 20 years also chips in with some of the care and responsibilities. He loves dogs just as much as I do and takes special pride in spoiling them! Between the three of us, we have a very welcoming home that is happy to have new friends come into the fold. I have a three bed two bath home with a large fenced yard. The fenced dog park is right across the street, which is perfect for meeting some new friends during the stay. Naughty Dog restaurant is close by, which is dog-friendly and tons of fun! My neighborhood is called Hillsborough Harbor, and we’ve lived here for 20 happy years.

Mary was amazing! I recently moved here and in the past always had my family members watch my dogs. I was extremely nervous for someone new to watch them but Mary immediately put me at ease and I couldn't have put my dogs in better hands. They were treated like a queen and king from going to the swimming pool to getting plenty of play time. She dedicated her time to them and treated them as if they were her own which I am extremely grateful for. I would recommend her to anyone and am so happy she gave me such a positive experience.
Mary was very accommodating. We had issues with the drop off time but she offered to pick Blu up. I loved that she wanted to do a meet and greet first, that made me feel very comfortable seeing her place first and how Blu was going to get along with her dog Buddy; they were perfectly fine! She has a pretty big yard for the pups to play at!
Mary did an amazing job watching Moose. She has a wonderful, dog friendly home and made Moose feel so welcome. We were given daily updates on how Moose was doing and she went above and beyond to make her comfortable.
FIVE STAR SERVICE!!!!! We had our second stay with Mary and her adrable rescue Buddy and we could not be any happier. We had ZERO worries while on vacation and that is priceless. Thank you Mary, Adam and Buddy, Tango will be back of that yu can be sure!!

Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
Your pup and I will go on at least 3 to 4 walks during the day, play with toys, take power naps on the couch and check out the park--if we have enough energy after our activities! I love to stay active, so I’m a great fit for pups that like to get a lot of exercise. In my free time, I like to swim, read, watch tv or socialize with my friends. My puppy is still learning his manners, so we train every morning practicing what he learned in class. It’s so much fun watching him become a well-behaved young man!
