Like most people on Rover, I am an absolute animal person- horses, snakes, gerbils, cats, and of course, dogs! I have had a dog (or two) my whole life (big and small). Me and Watson, my seven-year-old, large, german shepard-chow rescue, are two peas in a pod! On weekends you can generally find us walking around or asleep in an hammock. He is a very very anxious dog, and I have had to learn a lot of training, exercise, and calming techniques growing up with him - we actually just trained for our first half marathon together! (And possibly trying to train for another one if you have an energetic dog that enjoys runs). I'm an Environmental Engineer and NC State grad as of this May (Go Pack!) and have the summer off before grad school. What better way to do it than getting to hang out with some puppers?
