I’ve had dogs all my life and considered them my children before I had my kids. My last dogs were a 14 yr old ShihTzu and 16 yr old Lhasa Apso (who developed diabetes at 14 and needed 2 insulin injections/day and forced to eat). She went into kidney failure the week before I had my daughter so my vet urged me to put her down. The 14 yr old basically died of a broken heart 6 months later. Losing both broke my heart too and I found it difficult to replace them so I haven’t yet. But now I see I should have because my kids are missing out on that unconditional love they give us. Now I’m a single mom of teenagers ready to give every dog I meet a lot of love and TLC. So until I’m able to welcome a fur baby into our family, I would love to dote on yours! We take my dad’s dog on walks, to dog parks and speed runs at the school playground as much as possible. Weekends are the best time for me since I work full-time on weekdays. But evenings during the week work too! Thanks!
