Grateful Mary Jo was able to watch Coco over the weekend but I was surprised to hear she decided to not feed my dog her dinner because she was having some loose stools (pretty normal for her..) I wish she would have asked me if it was ok to fast my dog instead of making that choice herself. I also left an apple in the bag for Coco to have as a treat to settle into a place she has never been before since she’s pretty anxious. Mentioned it at drop off. The apple was still in the bag. I also asked for pictures and videos which I never received. I do not think I would leave Coco again knowing that she was withheld her food for having some tummy issues.. She’s 8 years old and should stay on her normal routine as written in the notes. Coco is getting a dental procedure tomorrow so I would have really preferred to keep her on her normal eating schedule instead of fasting when she has to be fasted again for her surgery. I feel like this was just added stress for her and for me. Definitely not the review I wanted to write but I can’t get over not feeding the dog for having loose stools and not asking me if that was even ok to do. I could have easily told her it was normal and to feed her! I feel terrible my dog didn’t get her dinner last night.

Mary Jo was a wonderful host to my little dorgi (dachshund/corgi mix) and took great care of him. It’s so good to know that you have a reliable doggie-sitter when you need one!
